No HDR. I used a split graduated neutral density filter (www.SinghRay.com) which is a rectangular peice of glass that is clear on the bottom half and the top half is 2 stops darker but neutral and colorless. This prevents the sky from blowing out so the exposure appears the way your eye would see it. Congrats onthe new D90- great choice for a camera!
